Wakayama Castle Park Zoo

This zoo is located within the grounds of a castle, making it a rare spot in Japan. It has been operated free of charge since the Taisho era, and is currently home to 51 species of animals, including 20 species of mammals, 26 species of birds, and 5 species of reptiles. Please come and visit us at least once.

・15 minutes walk from Nankai Wakayamashi Station. ・15 minutes by car from Hanwa Expressway Wakayama IC. ・Take the bus from JR Wakayama Station or Nankai Wakayama City Station and get off at Wakayama Castle-mae.
