Manyokan

The Manyoshu contains 107 poems about travels to Wakayama, and the names of places written in the Manyoshu, such as Wakaura, still exist today. Among the many places associated with Manyo, Wakaura has been loved and loved by poets and many travelers as a place of scenic beauty. For those of you visiting this area, Manyokan will be the starting point for a timeless journey into the world of Manyoshu poetry.
